Claypot Rice with Pensonic World Kitchen Smart Pot

Number of serving: 2-3 persons

Ingredients:

320g Rice

100g Bacon

2 sticks Chinese sausage

60g Choy Sum

10g ginger

2 roots shallots

1 teaspoon Rice wine

Sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sugar

2 tablespoon oyster sauce

½ teaspoon dark soy sauce

2 tablespoons boiling water

 

Method:

  • Add in the boiling water, sugar. Stir until sugar melts then add in soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce. Mix together & set aside.
  • Cut bacon & sausages into oblique slices. Mix with ginger, shallots & rice wine. Set aside
  • Rinse rice a few times & drain.
  • Quickly sauté the bok choy with some oil until half-cooked. Set aside as well.
  • Transfer rice & water into the pot then put the soaked bacon, chinese sausage on top of rice, and cover the pot.
  • Cook the rice with claypot option.
  • When cooking is complete, open the cover, take out the onion & ginger, pour in the sauce and mix the rice evenly. Add in the choy sum.
  • Take out the glass pot and let it stand for 10 mins, and serve.
